we board in the morning!! (plus 8 months!)

We photo copied all cards both front and back which is kept in the safe in the stateroom.. On shore days we would take only the card that we anticipated needing that day and a few euros for tipping and small purchases...once again leaving any excess cash and other cards in the safe we also make copies of our passport ( both passports on one page .. print two copies so each of us will carry both in case one loses theirs..(leaving the original documents in the stateroom safe.)

Jackie and Tony ARE nice people.. we had the chance to meet them and cruise with them when we all did the mediterrean...in 2006

we used the ATM on land.. we brought home 55 Euros.. That will be enough to get us to the hotel on our next trip

what is it about Kevin? For us because of destination (Egypt and the holy land) we would figure a price of approx $192 and some change per person per day or 2500 per person for the cruise... would be a great deal... I just priced it out and it came in at $3099 before fees for just a 12 day cruise... so we will put this onthe back burner to simmer and see if the price falls

I guess for me personally it would be when we had the opportunity to visit the ancient sites of rome.. to walk and touch the things that Julius Ceasar did.. that just blew me away...

I guess we are Now! Don't let me dictate the time! I just thought that most people would be interested in being on board as early as possible. Seriously, though, I'm flexible--whatever the group favors is fine! Paula, This maybe the last time we sail Celebrity for a while, our next tentative cruises are: (one) A cruise that is being bantered about here..... (i am not planning it)is a small group of crazies that are putting together a Vancouver to Hawaii cruise in 2012 I think.. most likely that will be on Carnival ... and the holy land cruise for next year on Azamara. The one thing Celebrity excels at is the Welcome Aboard with the white gloved escort to your stateroom.. and we always enjoy that...so we really wanted to experience that once again and that requires us to board after 1pm... Let me be clear...This is a personal thing.... and depending on the shuttle schedules and the wishes of the others staying at the hotel will ultimatly determine what time we order/sign up for the shuttle.
