  1. how long of a drive would it be for you and Wayne to sail out of Port Canaveral?
  2. so true.. I know I can use my placard here in California.. when i am having a rough day at meters and other spots without regard to time limits for free..the port of LA and the area airports gives us preferred spots but not for FREE.. I also learned that foreign counties recognizes them as well our tour guide in Villefranche said he could have used it while he was showing us around that area of France.. so put it in your suitcase when you go over seas..
  3. how can we verify the handicap parking thing for you? (I only ask in case others reading this may need this information)
  4. I will need to verify to see if that option is available .. but it is my understanding it is a one way shuttle, I had assumed that taxis would be needed for the return trip either to the hotel or airport depending on destination..
  5. Celebrity just got financing for the 4th Solstice-class ship which is scheduled for delivery in the third quarter of 2011.. so no doubt RCL will acquire what they need as well
  6. I know some of you will be driving to the pier in Miami and some will be parking at the hotel..and others will fly into Miami.. The hotel is offering a rate of $10.00 per person shuttle service. I wanted to see if any others wanted to take advantage or are we going to "taxi" it at our own convenience? I need (would like)a quick show of hands... How many THINK they would like the hotel shuttle service from the hotel to the Miami Port.. If you are in favor of the hotel shuttle would please add your name to the list ...if not just post a no thank you posting on this thread, that way we will at least let us know you had the chance to consider the option.. Thanks..
  7. Great question..... It's not so much as which ship as it is which cruiseline........ The Itinerary is still important to us.. but cruise line is even more important as we like to decide which companies receive our vacation dollars...
