  1. Yes Shari they have the BEST itineraries because of their size they can access all the small ports, so the passengers get to see some gorgeous small ports and the bonus is they don't flood these places with 1000's of passengers swarming everywhere. I would love to do one of these cruises, they sound wonderful! Aaah just need to win the Powerball, then I can accomplish everything on my bucket list ? ?

  5. The Edge sounds wonderful - I can't wait to hear all about her from Andi.
  6. She sounds like a gorgeous ship. Andi I am so jealous!! I can't wait to hear all about your onboard experience.

  9. That sure is a plus Shari ...... I think it would be easy to get one's 10,000 steps in.
  10. Two friends of mine went to Cuba a month or so ago and they could not stop talking about the toilets with no toilet seats and no toilet paper ever available. Note to self ... go prepared!!
  11. Now we're talking. I think I should put this on my bucket list .... would love to try a Windstar cruise, especially if it is sailing the Agean Sea.
  12. Sorry I should have qualified "smallish seaside villages" - I was thinking Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta - which as I said are probably not smallish anymore thanks to the constant cruise traffic and the $$$ being spent in their economies.
  13. I don't know how if feel about these mega ships visiting these smallish seaside villages. Of course they won't be small for long, the advent of cruise lines visiting them over the past few years has made them "mushroom" and lose their small seaside village appeal.
  14. Quite scary to think of 9,000 people floating out on the deep blue ocean on a chunk of metal ?
  15. This certainly seems to be the new wave of the future - mega liners!!!
  16. I would love to try it out too. The only thing that concerns me is - can one really see, do and experience everything onboard in just a 7 day cruise. For us a 7 day is so, so short and we don't ever rest either, we leave the cabin the the morning and most days only return to get ready for cocktails and dinner in the evening.
