    The Brits refer to Seniors as Pensioners - Americans say Retirees. I am with the Captain - saying that you cannot "fall" overboard. She had to surely have jumped and was pushed over. I am amazed at how she was able to walk on deck with her rescuers ..... she sure didn't look exhausted from 10 hours treading water. Typically 10 solid hours of leg exercise in the water would have made most peoples legs like jello ....... that is amazing!

    I think this is one of the smartest moves by the cruise industry. Let's hope the trend spreads across all cruise lines.

    my sister, who is 6 years younger than me, came home from school with chicken pox. She didn't have many pox on her body though. Well I caught it from her and had 3 times as many pox including some in my mouth would you believe and then my mother contracted it while taking care of us and as an adult she had it full blown. Hardly a place on her body without a spot. My Mom and I had a few lasting scars from them too.

    Two other things I loved about the Royal. 1) The dancing color fountains on the pool deck every evening - stunning!! 2) Their "Movies Under The Stars" is perfected. We were given blankets and pillows on the loungers and then they brought around popcorn, after which we also received hot chocolate and cookies. Andi, we love Alfredo's as well, delicious pizza.

    Todd, this ship did not feel like a big ship - it is extremely well designed.

    Back in the day there was no MMR vaccination. I had measles, mumps and rubella before the shots came out. Having had 6 kids in the house, we could never escape the childhood diseases when they came home from school with them. Supposedly one has immunity after contracting the disease.

    Apparently witnesses said she and her partner had just been seen fighting and drinking. Nevertheless how does one get over that rail ........ jump ....... pushed....????????

    Hmmmm, fighting with her partner AND drinking ....... all I can say is that she is so, so lucky to be have been found and rescued.

    Me too!!! Having been on the Royal Princess twice (and Enchanted is the 5th Royal class) - I can honestly say I have never been on such a beautiful ship ...... how exciting!!!

    All i can add is that we have tailored our packing down considerably because we no longer do formal nights. We did about 30 formal night cruises and then decided we prefer to not go to the dining room on formal nights any more. We don't need any expensive photos either. So we remain cruise casual and go up to the buffet on those evenings .... so much more relaxed.
