In Cozumel, we did an excursion thru the cruiseline....it had the word "eco" in the title but can't remember exactly what it was called. We went by open-air bus on a small tour of the island, then on to a lighthouse for a quick stop. There were vendors selling crafts there. Then we went to a beach, where they had reserved chairs and beach umbrellas for us. You could snorkel with the group or just hang out on the beach. They showed us various things along the way, a small mayan ruins, the beach where the turtles lay their eggs and then people go out and mark the spots with signs, we saw a HUGE iguana. The tour guides were excellent - very humorous and they had coolers with beer, soda and water onboard. We have been on a lot of cruises and we all agreed it was one of the best excursiosn we have ever been on.
