  3. No Jackie - we do NOT want a break. We are really enjoying your daily accounts and I feel bummed when there isn't one posted. It sounds like you are having a great trip. Any chance of free internet while you are on the Millineum????
  4. I agree with all of my crazy friends here - definitely not what I am looking for in a cruise. If I want to make my own bed and clean my own bathroom, I will stay home. I like being pampered and also love the concept of all your food being included - that way I can try new things and if I don't like them, nothing lost. Actually, I have never heard of EasyCruise before I read this thread but it is not something I would even look into. Let us now what you decide...
  5. Congrats on the decision Rose. I would love to do a holiday cruise but my family is so big on holidays, I think my kids would disown us if we weren't here for one... It will be wonderful for you, ringing in the new year on the high seas!!!
  6. We always fly in the day before so we can spend a little extra time in Miami or Ft. Lauderdale. Last time, our cruise was sailing from San Juan so we flew into Ft. Lauderdale the day before and rented a car. After we got there, we were saying we should have flown onto San Juan and spent an extra day there. Anyway, our plane from Ft. Lauderdale to San Juan was scheduled to land at 4:00 and the ship sailed at 10:00 p.m. - no worries, plenty of time. Our flight kept getting delayed and we did not land in San Juan until a few minutes after 9:00 and still had to wait on our luggage. We got in a cab at 9:20 and told the driver he would get a good tip if he got us there quickly. He did and there was absolutely no one in line at the check-in so we got thru quick. I thought they usually closed the check-in lines 30 minutes before departure, but there were people there working and no one said anything about us being late, but we did explain to them about our plane. From now on, we will make it a point to fly into the point of departure the day before. Oh, I think I got off track, I started out to say that since we always fly in the day before, I don't put my luggage tags on until we arrive at the hotel we will be staying at...
  7. Robert, I see you have figured out that SDM means number with only one digit - 9 days before the event makes you a SDM. So you can celebrate in 4 more days. Wish my next cruise was that close - I hope you and Annie have the time of your lives....
