  1. Book that airfare Linda - can't wait to meet all of you there!!!
  2. It's a for sure thing for us. We will be driving as I think we are going to take a week after we leave Vegas and go to Monument Valley, AZ and Moab, Utah.
  3. We usually do just about everything together. The only time we are ever apart is I usually take a leisurely stroll thru the shops at least one sea day while Greg is napping. We do go in the shops together also, but he likes to almost make a race thru them, so I go back by myself so I can really look at everything.
  4. HonestOkie - our cruise that is coming up (sail 5 weeks from today) was booked 15 months in advance. We usually book about 10-12 months out but our friends we are traveling with needed to make it longer. She was undergoing radiation at the time we booked it and the dr. felt like she would need close to a year to feel like her old self so we gave it a little extra ime just to be on the safe side. Here we are 35 days from sailing and she is feeling great. You usually get great prices booking that far in advance....
  5. Honestokie, glad to have you aboard the greatest forum afloat. I feel so at home here, and I am sure that in no time, you will be saying the same.

  8. The icon for the T1 cruise is the one I was referring to earlier. I think it would stand out and draw people in. If you use a logo with a beach scene or something else like that, you are going to blend in with all the other travel agencies and for me personally, it would not set that group apart from all the others - I don't know that I would particularly remember it. I agree with Bill that with a name like Troublemaker, you need something that lives up to the name and will engrain itself in people's minds. What prompted me to sign up for a Troublemaker cruise was the image that it was a fun, party group.
  9. Honestokie, welcome to the forum. I was raised in Tulsa and we used to go up to Tahlequah every summer on church youth group float trips. I have never cruised on Princess so don't really know their dining procedure, but we pick a seating (always early) and then go to the Lido deck buffet (casual dining) whenever we feel like eating in shorts and at whatever time we choose to. I think you and your dad should go to at least one evening in the formal dining room just for the experience. On our last cruse, the last evening was the only time we went to the dining room. Hope to see you posting often...
  10. I have bought so much pirate stuff because I thought it was the logo of the Troublemakers. I really did think it was their symbol. I love the pirate skull - especially the one that Lisa used to have in her avatar...
  11. Casual - I know I am going to get drenched with sweat standing outside for the lifeboat drill - so usually take a quick shower and change into the outfit in my carry-on before dinner.
  12. Freedom? We're sailing on the Spirit! Hey, if the ships merged, they could be called the Free Spirit. Okay, it was just a thought.....
  13. We're with the Skipper - I can't see it affecting us at this point, but then we don't cruise as often as some of you do. At this point, we only take 1 cruise a year because Greg only has so much time off work and he likes to vacation in other ways also. Right now, the lines are sailing with full ships, but if that changes, I would assume they would offer lower prices or more perks to book those cabins.
  14. I love to sit on the balcony when at sea and I have sometimes watched movies on my laptop while out there but my battery doesn't last that long, so I have to bring it in and charge it up. Of course, I use headphones, not only so as not to disturb the neighbors but also because I wouldn't be able to hear it over the sounds of the ocean if I didn't.
