  10. Is there any way we can work it out so that we will be staying at the same place? We just thought the Desert Rose would be perfect as it has a BBQ and pool area that we could use for our potluck get together. Lisa, if you and Vick shared a 2 bedroom condo at the Rose, it might be just as cheap a night per person as a 1 bedroom at MGM - especially if Vicky is able to get a government rate. I think it would be good so that we could party without worrying about driving from one place to another. Just don't know if anyplace would let us have a pool party if all the participants were not hotel guests. I want everyone to have fun - okay, especially my husband as I hope to get him on many more Troublemakers cruises. We're only a little over 7 months away from Sin City!!!
  11. My freezer in the basement is full because of his bumper crop from the garden this year. Greg said he would buy anoher one before the cookie dough came in. Has anyone else noticed that no matter what we start out talking about, it always makes it way to "adult material"?
  12. Okay Frank, list 'em. It might make Greg feel better about having to buy all that cookie dough!!!
  13. I picked mine when I booked it to insure the aft cabin. Linda, I didn't know that you have yet to take your maiden voyage.
  14. For you guys who don't know, I had to buy 25 boxes of cookie dough because my 5 yr. old grandson was having a fundraiser at school and my son didn't take care of trying to sell it, and I didn't find out about it until the night before the money and order forms were due. Even though I think it is unfair and puts undue pressure on the children, those who did not sell at least $300 in cookie dough, did not get to attend the party (driven there in a limo) nor receive the prizes. So, as to insure that the munchkin was not left out, Grandma had to go up to the school the following morning and buy $311 worth of cookie dough. I guess if we tried hard enough, we could come up with something kinky to do with it...
  15. Sure, give me a couple of drinks and I'll be passing them out to anyone and everyone.
  16. Well, there might be some slurring of the words, but I think we can muster through. Actually, I am a very happy, loving drunk, so you all might want to watch out!!!
  17. Booze and a bathroom - think that is all we will need. Maybe we shoould just stick with american food - I can speak that language.
  18. But Lisa, that is one of the many things I love about Smoo!!!
  19. Well, it's not like I will have any shortage of cookie dough, so sure!!! Since I am staying in a condo with a kitchen, I will just bake them there.
  20. Lisa, if you are relying on my translation skills, no telling what we will end up getting.
  21. Why do I have the feeling that Chuck, Frank or Bill are going to have some comment about this conversation????
  22. Love the pic Linda. Nice looking guy- how was his personality? Just wondering as he looks a little wooden. One of those fellows you expect to have a stiff upper lip.....
  23. Linda, I was thinking the same thing, as I am old enough now to be a member. We got AAA rates at the Desert Rose. Thanks for findng it for us - it looks great. By the way, I went back and checked online at American Express and they did not charge a deposit to it, so I guess they just need a card number to hold the reservations.
  24. Chuck, as the old saying goes "the check is in the mail". I sent it off this morning, so you should have it in a few days.
