  1. Jenn, may all your days at sea be smooth and filled with sun and fun and may all your days in port be adventurous. Anchors aweigh…… I hope this is your best cruise ever!!! I will miss your humor but am sure you will be keeping your fellow passengers laughing.
  2. Dan, I have never sailed Princess, but I do like the western caribbean route. We will be sailing it for the 4th time in 8 weeks. I would avoid flying in and out of San Juan, if possible. Although we have never sailed out of Ft. Lauderdale's port, we always fly into there and spend the night before and after in FLL, and take a shuttle into port of Miami. The hotel van takes us back to the airport and we catch the Carnival bus to the port. We have stayed in Miami a few times, and just prefer Ft. Lauderdale. Let us know what you decide.
  3. Donna, hope you and your family have a wonderful time. We have always told our grandson that when he turns 6, we will take him. He will reach that age next June and he is already asking me how many "sleeps" until we go.

  18. Jenn, the check-in process is just really slow and of course, if you are flying out after a cruise, there are several other ships that have disembarked at the same time, so all of those passengers are flying out at the same time. It isn't like you can drive to that port, like you can if you are sailing from the U.S. or Canada, so almost all of the 10,000 passengers are boarding planes. Then at security, they take a little thing that looks like a wet wipe and rub it inside any carry-on's or purse you are taking onboard and that is put in a machine to see if any chemicals are present.
  19. I'm with Smoo - not my boy either. I make sure he is taken care of at home so he never feels the need to do something like that. Lisa, you have probably figred out by now that Mustang Sally's involves "working girls".
  20. Well, that does make me feel better. Hopefully you will get some rest this weekend, maybe relax on a floatie in the pool with a cold drink in hand. Gosh, that sounds good - can I come visit? By Monday, our highs are forecast to be in the 60's and down in the 30's at night!!!
  21. We flew into and out of San Juan for a cruise about 2 yrs. ago. If your flight is at 3:40, I don't think you will be getting there any too soon. Unless things have changed, it was the longest lines we have ever waited in - first to get to the check-in counter and then thru security. We waited in lines for a couple of hours before even getting to the gate. My in-laws flew out of there about 6 months ago, and said it was the same way then.
  22. Is there going to be a tote bag for the Loco cruise also? I think I remember reading that previously, but sometimes get brain freeze, so can't really recall. The design looks great Chuck.
  23. Well, you gotta' do something to keep it spicy after 30 yrs....
