Hey, where are all the Las Vegas bound Troublemakers? It is way too quiet here. I have been canning salsa yet again today, so I think we will definitely need to have chips and salsa as we sit around the pool!!!

I just signed up. I used to have a subscription but let it lapse several years ago. I still have most of the old issues - I drag them out when we are planning a cruise and see if the ship or any of the ports are featured. Thanks Jason.

Hey Linda, I think these T-shirts are for the TM1 cruise, which is in Jan., so it will have already happened by the time we hit sin city. I don't think the design for the shirts for TM2 have been ironed out. Even though we are not doing TM1, I think I will probably get a shirt because I love the design.

I prefer to drive - then I don't have to drink. But come to think of it, it would definitely help when riding with hubby. He has something of a lead foot (even more than me).

Vicky has a very good point Linda. My younger son had to have one of his tribal bands touched up because he got a sunburn on it a few days after he got it, and it caused some fading.

7 days is the longest cruise I have been on. I am usually ready to go home by then. The Loco cruise is 8 days, so that will be the longest. I don't know if I would want to go any longer.

Linda, I asked my son about the swimming thing - he said not for 2 weeks after you get the tattoo. I assume it would be because of the chlorine. He is one of the best in the Denver area, and has to schedule his appointments pretty far out - very talented - gets it from his mom .

Linda, I may be wrong, but I am thinking that my son said you couldn't go swimming for a while after you get one. I will ask him when I talk to him in a bit. He was over here earlier but didn't have his cell phone on him, so I will call when he gets home from the car show...

Mary Lou, I am so happy you are home. You were so missed. I am looking forward to hearing all about your trip and what Caitlin and Heather thought of their first voyage.

Well, they always say that opposites attract. I always think that the more I do today, the less I have to do tomorrow.

Linda, I am tattoo-less, but my son is a tattoo artist so I see them a lot. He has way more than I would like for him to have, but he didn't ask my opinion. My other son has a tribal band on each bicep. I have been in the shop when my son was doing them, and not being a big fan of pain, I can honestly say I would never do it, but if you want one, go for it.

Linda, Greg does have the Amex resistered online - he does the paperless billing. I will have him check tomorrow and see if there are any charges from the Desert Rose. Having our reservation makes the Vegas trip just seem more real. I am like you - to me, half the fun is in the planning stage and I am like a kid in a candy store when it comes to the planning. You're right, I haven't sent my Christmas list out yet - but I do have some of my cards addressed!!!

Jenn it was pretty high up. It was a lookout. We had hired a taxi driver to take us on a tour of the island, and this was one of the stops. I think just about every other taxi driver/tour guide stopped there too. By the way, I loved the way the ship is "framed" in your pic...

Okay, I am jumping the gun - call me over anxious, but I decided to try booking online and see what happened. I can cancel up until 2 days before arrival and not be charged 1 nights penalty. Anyway, I did put in my Amex number, but I don't know if I will be charged a deposit on it or not. I didn't find anything concerning that online. I guess it doesn't matter - if they do charge me one, that is just that much less we have to pay when we check in. If something comes up or we all decide to stay somewhere else, I will just cancel that reservation and not be out anything. At least this way, I know we are covered!!! Hey Vicky, can your friend get a government rate at the Desert Rose? I don't know what that constitutes, but wondered if military fell under that category - that rate would be much cheaper for them. I booked a 1 bedroom at the AAA rate of $457 for the 3 nights.

Vicky, is Kevin and Jeanette your friends from work? I don't know if we have to pay a deposit now or not. It just said a credit card number was needed to hold your reservation. When we do book, I will have to remember to check the credit card statement. I am so bad - we only use American Express and I never even look at the bill, and Greg never says anything to me, he just pays it. Okay, I guess I should rephrase that, because there are times he does say something to me about it, but it usually isn't asking what certain charges are - it is usually "stop spending so much!!!".

Here's a question that may need to be answered by Chuck or Linda. As for the Desert Rose, we are thinking that is where we will stay and I think Linda said she and Wayne were going to also. I know it was mentioned about Chuck checking on a group discount, but at this point, even if Smoo and Lisa were to stay there, we would only need 4 rooms at the most, so would a group discount even apply? I was wondering because that doesn't seem like enough rooms to qualify for a discount and if that is the case, I might as well go ahead and book ours....

Robert, I think it is a great picture and it is nice to put a face with a name - same to you Skipper. You both are very handsome gentlemen.
