  4. Joey, enlighten me as to how you would get your shirt caught UNDER the leg of a bar stool....
  5. I don't really drink much on a normal basis - maybe a margarita once every 2 - 3 months. I do drink rum and coke when flying, from the moment I pass security at the airport until the minute my feet are back safely on the ground. However, on a cruise, there will be at least

  18. Linda, "Cheryl Math" converts mainly to dollars and cents - if it something I really want, my reply to Greg when he asks how much is "not much" - if it is something that I don't want to do, when he brings up the cost, my answer is "too much"....
  19. Larry, enjoyed your beautiful pics. May they bring you many, many remembrances of such a joyful tme. Thanks for sharing...
  20. FrostyBoy, I can tell you what would make me feel safer, but I wIll be in the major-minority here. I would feel safer if I had the means to protect myself and my loved ones. Hubby and myself are both licensed to carry a concealed handgun, and are registered as an expert marksman (him) and a sharp shooter (I). Okay, I am not suggesting that people be able to carry them all over the ship, but I think if there were a few people onboard who had them in their safes and could be called on should the need arise (and the passenger proved to be sober!!!) - you know, kind of like the air marshall's on planes and no one really knows who they are. After the Va. Tech tragedy, one college here in Colorado, did make it legal for those who had gone thru the safety courses and passed the shooting test and strict background checks, to have a firearm in their possession on school grounds. The general concensus was that there would be people who were trained and equipped to stop the rampage. As this is never going to happen onboard, I will have to put myself in God's hands and pray that good will triumph over someone evil who is hell-bent on destruction. Okay, let the bashing begin, but please keep on mind that as of this writing, I am under the influence of a sleeping pill and a muscle relaxer!!!!
  21. Kimmy, I really enjoyed your slide show - it looks like you had a great sail away party and a very nice suite to hold it in. What ports of call did you visit?
  22. Kimmy, our upcoming Conquest cruise in Nov. will be our first since they introduced the comfort bedding on Carnival. I am excited about having the king sized bed without the seperation down the middle of having 2 twins pushed together. For those of you who sailing on Carnival - make sure and tell them that you want the beds pushed together and the twin mattresses removed and a king mattress put on. I hear the sheets, pillows and down comforter are very nice...
  23. Joey, I can say that I have never had a bad meal on Carnival, plus every member of the staff goes out of their way to help in anyway they can. On the few occassions, there was a problem, it was promptly handled with apologies (and gifts!!!). While everyone has "those days", I have never seen a grumpy employee onboard.
  24. MrPete, may all your days at sea be smooth and filled with sun and fun and may all your days in port be adventurous. Anchors aweigh……
  25. Hey Frank, Bill and Joey - we are in an AFT cabin on deck 5 - don't be throwing those grass skirts, coconut bras or other accessories down onto our balcony - you hear? Joey, you are probably as much of an angel as Smoo is - she wears her halo on her foot...dare I ask where your's rests?
