They weren't our tablemates, but on one of our cruses, there were 2 young couples traveling together. They were seated at the table right next to ours. One of the them had infant twin girls, probably around 6 mos. old or so, and the other had 2 toddlers. One night, during dinner, the father of the twins was playing with one of the girls, and talking to her in baby talk quite loudly. He was holding her up in the air and blowing raspberries on her tummy. Then he says, in a very audible voice "daddy thinks you have poopy pants, yes he does". After checking, he proceeds to lay her on the dinner tabe and change her "poopy pants". It was definitely something I could have done without.

Ed, hope you and Roe had a great time. I look forward to reading your impressions of the ship. After 26 hrs. of travel, sounds like you could use some rest.

The pools onboard are relatively small and there isn't room for noodles or inflatable pool toys. I do not know that there is anything in the rules against them, but I have never seen anyone use them and I would imagine you would have some unhappy fellow swimmers if you did. Unfortuneately, the pools are nowhere near the size of a hotel pool, which is what I was imagining before my first cruise.

Linda, we were there on our last cruise. It really is a beautiful place. As we were there for only a day, we didn't get to see everything, went to the beach by the lighthouse and then did some shopping. I am sure you will have a wonderful and memorable time.

Carla, I assure you that the anticipation will turn into immense excitement when the time comes. I was a little bit nervous, starting a few days before our first cruise. It was really just a fear of the unknown. Our maiden voyage was on the Fantasy, which sailed out of Port Canaveral. On the way to the port, we were stopped at a draw bridge that was up, so we had to wait a few minutes. To the right, we had a great view of the ship and as I sat there and looked at it, all of fears vanished and I could not wait to set foot on it. From the very first minute onboard, I was totally hooked. I look forward to hearing your impressions upon your return. Have a great time - how could you not - you'll be on a cruise!!!
