  1. Howard and Cindy, may all your days at sea be smooth and filled with sun and fun and may all your days in port be adventurous. Anchors aweigh……
  2. Rose, happy to see you back on the Daily Dock. Sounds like just what you needed after a busy tax season....
  3. Welcome Bonnie Bell, glad you found us here. Zebra is right, you will probably get more info than you wanted in the "cruise discussion" section - some people don't read the new member section but do go to the "cruise discussions" and "general discussions". We have only sailed Carnival because we started cruising when the kids were younger and there was always lots for them to do with the kids programs onboard. I tried to post a link to Camp Carnival but it put in my Carnival past guest number and full name so guess I probably don't want to post that!!! Just go to www.carnival.com and click on "Onboard Experiences" and then "Camp Carnival"...

  13. I always bring pics of the kids and our grandson - I have some small ones that are framed and everywhere we travel, they go with us, and are placed on a table or dresser. Cornbally, I know. I also take extension cords and an alarm clock on every cruise, and since I came into the modern age since the last cruise, my iPod will be a must have on every sailing now.

  15. FrostyBoy, how in the world did I miss this thread before. You said in another post that you had possibly met your future wife, but didn't elaborate (even after I asked ) !!! Sounds like maybe cupid has shot you both in the butt with his arrows. Please keep us posted and I hope it all works out.
  16. Okay, I will admit that I got this gif from someone here on the forum (yes, I copied it from your post, sorry can't remember who it was as it has been sometime ago.), but I love it - so here's a doc dance for you....
  17. Can't help with any advice on Alaska, but hope you have a great first cruise. We live in Colorado, so I see all the snow and wildlife I care to, but will probably cruise there one day as hubby would love it. All 10 of our cruise and the upcoming one, have been to to Caribbean - living in a land locked state, I love getting to the beaches and enjoy the warm, yes even hot, weather.
  18. Tim, sounds like a very interesting trip. When are you going? Oh, and congrats on the booking.
  19. Howard, time to pull those suitcases and commence the packing ritual. I hope you have a wonderful cruise.

  24. Our fisrt cruise was on the Carnival Fantasy in July of 1995. I had been trying for years to get Greg to go on a cruise, and he always said he didn't know what he would do on a boat if he couldn't fish. I gave him a 4 day cruise to the bahamas as a gift - knew it was the only way to get him onboard. He was hooked from day 1.
  25. Rose, may all your days at sea be smooth and filled with sun and fun and may all your days in port be adventurous. Congrats again on son's graduation. Anchors aweigh……
