  1. Stephen where have you been that you missed the Daily Dock???? That is the very first thing I read every morning after I stumble downstairs. Hope to see you posting in the Dock soon - I saw earlier that Charlie has already joined us there.....
  2. Congrats Keith - I don't think I will ever be stacked (okay, guys - no crude comments - have been "stacked" in that manner since I was 13 yrs. old). As much as I love cruising, for now Greg prefers to spend the majority of his time off "cruising" the country in the RV. Maybe someday, when he retires and we have all the time in the world, we will be able to stack our cruises too. Reading about and seeing the pics of your cruises, makes me really want to do a New Year's cruise...
  3. That was a good one Keith - and maybe he will soon file a petition for custody of the body for a possible burial at sea.
  4. Cheryl's right - it will be our little secret - so c'mon...dish!!!!

  8. I checked the calendar and the is no one listed as sailing on that day, but that doesn't mean that there won't be fellow Cruise Crazies onboard. Make sure and post your cruise on the Calendar (listed in the "Interactve" section on the lefthand side of the screen). And keep your eyes peeled for Cruise Crazy door hangers or lapel pins while onboard the ship!!!
  9. Maybe it was another Elvis sighting. See how our imaginations run amok - I think you had better squelch all of our speculations and tell us........
  10. Hi there....I haven't heard anything about the Destiny (have been on it a couple of times myself). Aahhh, come on - don't tease us....what did you think you saw that you weren't really sure you saw ?
  11. Hi Charlie. This forum is very friendly and there is always someone who can answer your questions. I hope to see you posting often - we really do have a lot of fun around here....

  16. The Celebration is a small ship, 48,000 GRT, and there are only 10 cabins with balconies. I assume all of them would be suites. Even on the Fantasy class ships, which are around 70,000 GRT, there are very few balconies. That is one of the things I love about the Destiny class (101,000 tons) and up as there are so many balconies and at an affordable price. You said you had been on the Celebration before - are you set on that ship or is one of the larger ones a possibilty. You can get some great deals on balcony cabins depending on how far in advance you book....
  17. I have never seen any kind of lounger or raft in the pools - they really aren't that big. I bet if you called Carnival, they would answer that question for you. We will be sailing on the Conquest in Nov....looking forward to the water slide.
  18. Giggling, glad to have you aboard the greatest forum afloat. I feel so at home here, and I am sure that in no time, you will be saying the same.
  19. Yes, in my eyes, he is a true hero. He gave no thought to his personal safety and did what he had to do to protect the lives of the others in his group. Hope someone somewhere honors his bravery...
  20. I am surprised at the number of people who would like to cruise alone. Even when I traveled on business, I was part of a "due diligence team". so never was alone. For those of you who said you would love to cruise alone I have a question. Do you try to meet people on the ship and hang out with them or do you prefer to just be totally alone and relax at your own leisure?
