Have a safe and enjoyable cruise.

Just once on a cruise to Hawaii. It was really rough, everyone was reeling and holding on to the walls. It started around 10pm so we just went to bed.

We do 1 cruise and 1 land vacation each year, trying to increase that number but it is hard for my hubby to get time off.

I have to admit that I do not budget. I know what I want and how much I want to pay for it, and when I find it, I just book it. I usually book about 8 months ahead of my next vacation so by the time I am ready to travel, it is all paid for.

Thanks Schatje Well, going back to 2001 (this is as far back as I can remember without consulting my vacation calendar which is at home) we went to San Francisco and did a Western Caribbean cruise; 2002 was the cruise to Hawaii and a land vacation to the Bahamas; 2003 was a Southern Caribbean cruise and Acapulco; 2004 was Las Vegas and a cruise to Alaska ; 2005 we went to London and Paris and a cruise to the Mexican Riviera; 2006 was an European cruise and a land vacation to Maui is planned for September.

Thank you all for the lovely welcome. My husband and I will be going back to Maui. We were there in 2002 on a cruise to Hawaii and always wanted to revisit.

My name is Carmen and I love to cruise, and although my husband enjoys it too, he prefers land vacations, so we do one cruise and one land vacation every year, that way everyone is happy. We were on a Mediterranean cruise in June on Carnival Liberty and had a great time. Our land vacation will be to Hawaii in September. I am doing research on a Scandinavia and Russia Cruise for next year and will have to sail on a ship besides Carnival, since that is the only one we have sailed on, and they don’t go there.
