Yes, I stood in line for the longest time waiting to purchase bracelets and necklaces for family members, and they loved them. They asked for more the next time I went on a cruise. I never wore the bracelet that I bought for myself.

I'm so sorry that you had to cancel. We couldn't take our summer 7 day cruise this year. We took a 3 day one last month.

I didn't disagree with you about the ship being far from new. It must have been refurbished since you sailed on it. I did take it personally because you seem to be putting down the staff on the ship as well as the Miami people, Cubans and hispanics. They're not the only ones with strong personalities. If you don't like those people on your sailing, sail from another Port of Call. You're the one that needs to read your own post before posting it because you're putting down other nationalities.

Sparkyboi, The ship may have been refurbished because it is absolutely beautiful, and looks brand new. I didn't encounter any rudeness. All of the staff was extremely helpful and polite. What's wrong with Miami people, Latinos, and Cubans? And what are you that makes you so special that you seem to be putting other nationalities down?

Thanks, Cheryl! He loves cruising, and doesn't stop. He has to be busy at all times. He went to dinner with us on his first cruise, and now he refuses, and loves going with he Kid's Club.

Yes, I always work out while I'm cruising. I use the cardio equipment, the machines, and free weights.

I don't pay attention to the negative reviews, because as I'm reading it, I realize how the person is complaining about everything. I can't imagine anyone being unhappy and complaining on a cruise ship.

I sailed on the Norwegian Sky on June 5th on the 3 day weekend cruise to the Bahamas. I was going to sail on the Imagination which was $299 for an inside cabin, but I ran into great deals with the Norwegian sky. The inside cabin was $99, oceanview $149, and balcony $249. I sailed with my mother and nephew, and booked a balcony. I wanted the inside cabin but my mother is a Diva and wanted a balcony. I live 30 minutes away from the Port of Miami, and this cruise was scheduled the day after school was out for the summer. The ship has been newly refurbished, and is absolutely beautiful. It looks brand new. The balcony cabin is a bit smaller than on Carnival, but that wasn't a problem. The food is better on Carnival, but everything that I ate on the Sky was absolutely delicious. There is more of a variety of foods on Carnival in the buffet area. I loved freestyle dining. You may eat at the dining rooms anytime between 5:30-10:30. Some close at 10:00. We were seated immediately. It was such a quiet crowd on the ship. There were never any lines at the shops, photo gallery, or at the casino until the last night that everyone was at the Casino. Because of the price that they were offerring, we thought that there weren't many people on the ship. The day that we went to Stirrup Cay(their private island) is when we saw everyone. There is so much to do on their island. The kids club staff was there with games and activities for the kids. My nephew had so much fun. Embarkation and debarkation were the smoothest than in any other ship that I have sailed. I will definitely sail with them again. Both lines are very similar. Let me know if you have anymore questions. I'll post some pictures soon. I forgot to mention that the Lifeboat drill took place in the cabins due to the weather. We left 2 hours after scheduled because they closed The Port of Miami.

Thanks for the review, Cheryl. I've seen the 80's show on the Valor. It is a beautiful show and the music incredible. I'll be sailing on the Fascination on January 26th. I cannot wait to see the changes. I had to register again. I couldn't remember my password.
