    Howard - We've always wanted to see the Grand Canyon. Maybe some day. Five years ago we went out west - OK, NM, CO and SD (a 3 week road trip)......It was gorgeous! Glad you had a good time! I'm glad we've all decided on the MTD. 7 pm is just right. And even if we have to stagger the times 15 or 30 minutes for our large group, I think it will all work out great....especially with the before AND after dinner cocktails.....

    I was wondering how this would all work out with the MTD. I'm sure RCI has dealt with this kind of thing before - dealing with large groups like ours. I know Zack will want to eat at 7-ish. No matter how it all gets worked out, I'm sure we'll all still be able to meet for cocktails (I'm really obsessed with that aren't I...LOL).Debbie - so sorry you and Jerry can't join us. I'm sure there will be another cruise in the future where you can join this crazie group

    Toni - Acadia National Park is gorgeous. Cadillac mountain is a must see and do. They have many hiking trails on and around the mountain.

    YAY Toni and Lester!! So glad you're booked. I'm not a seafood eater but my husband Zack is and says he's had the best lobster in Maine.....who knows....He's never had it from Boston...I'm sure it's all good in the northeast!

    Yes, Kennebunkport is nearby (Bushes' home) and it is very scenic and I think Freeport, ME is close too - the home of LL Bean....

    MaryLou - We have been to Portland and honestly, the only thing that stands out in my mind is the Portland Head Lighthouse. It's supposed to be the most photographed lighthouse. There are also some very scenic drives near there along the coast.

    Tonight at 10 pm Eastern on the National Geographic Channel there is a show - "World's Largest Cruise Ships: Oasis of the Seas". It says it's a new one - 2010 - but I'm not 100% sure it is. We're going to record it.
