Remember your very first cruise? What was your first port-of-call......and what did you do there? Ours was Nassau, Bahamas in February, 2002. Being "newbies" we didn't book any excursions....just kind of wandered around and took a horse drawn carriage ride around the city.

You guys really need to check out the Red TShirts and the Navy TShirts. They look great. Don't forget they can be ordered as long sleeve TShirts. The bottom of the long sleeve is just like a TShirt - There's no SweatShirt band at the bottom. Maybe I will order a red one also....It is my favorite color..and the logo does look good with the red background.

We docked at the new pier in Feb., 2008.....Adventure of the Seas. It's a short walk to town. Most people walked. It's not bad unless you have problems walking about a 1/2 mile....maybe a little more. It's a nice walk....very picturesque.

I just realized that with Paula, unfortunately having to cancel, that that leaves 2 openings for the Barbados 1/2 day Glory Tours excursion. Anybody else? I also posted this on the other site.

Probably not cruising in 2010 because of having 2 cruises this year. But look out 2011 - our 25th wedding anniversary.....Have to have a cruise for that!

Thanks Andrea....I know that I prefer to wear them and, yes, they do make me feel more "dressed-up" with them on.......That's what I'm looking for is personal opinions.

I got a white shirt too. I was browsing for formals online yesterday and found a few that I liked at Nordstroms. I'm going to go to the mall and see what they have at that store and probably stop by Macy's while I'm there. I still have some gift card money left over at Macy's. I just bought a couple summer-like tops at Kohl's that were on clearance. I think I'm pretty much set for casual wear. I have a question for all the ladies out there. Do you still wear pantyhose with your formal wear or do you go bare-legged? I have done both but feel more comfortable with the hose on. I've even purchased a pair that are toe-less for my strappy sandals.

Dave - I know the site would not let me get to the Xpress Pass until I scrolled all the way through the "terms" and agreed to them. I don't know if that's your problem or not.

I just completed my on-line check-in and printed my boarding pass. Another thing checked off my list!

When we went to Curacao last, we just walked around and sat at a sidewalk cafe for a little while and watched the floating bridge go back and forth and people watched. I think that's a good idea, James, to meet at that "Happy Hours" bar for some Margaritas in St. Maarten.

MaryLou...I have been to Curacao. There's a nice little shopping district there but it is a little walk from the ship. But, if I remember correctly, there aren't many shops there. It's funny that I don't enjoy the beach anymore because when I was a kid we would go to the lake every weekend in the summer. Come to think of it, maybe that's why I don't enjoy it now. You're right about all the walking in Aruba. I really want to walk around and shop in Philipsburg, though because when we were there last, I didn't get a chance. My other 2 "cruisin' buddies" had other plans. (BTW....I'm finding these infolinks a little annoying.)

There are many places to shop in Aruba....also Philipsburg and then there's Curacao...oh yeah...and St. Thomas Anyway....I'm only doing excursions at St. Lucia, Barbados and Antigua and all the other stops I just plan on wandering around and shopping, etc. because I don't do beaches....just a quirky side of me, I guess.
