  1. If I have to pick just ONE reason, it would be unpacking once and waking up in a different country every day. Falling asleep to the sound and feel of the ocean is another one.
  2. Our first cruise was on the Norwegian Sky in 2002! A nice-sized ship!
  3. Love your list, Joey! Hey, I can celebrate (a month early) my 55th birthday. That's another good excuse....er..reason to toast. I like your reasoning Steve!
  4. That menu looks delicious. I'm not a fish and seafood eater but there's plenty other things to choose from-YUM!
  5. Great review, James. Also looking forward to Donna's review.
  6. I like the idea of the postcards in addition to the trinkets if you already have the trinkets or an idea of what to get. I have an idea but haven't gotten them yet.
  7. Good advice, MaryLou. Ours have a little over 3 years left on them.
  8. I can dance....but I don't know what style you would call it
  9. So far - Joey and David arriving Friday. Andrea - arriving 12:55 pm Sunday on Delta. Debbie - arriving 12:39 pm Sunday on Northwest Anybody else?
  10. great! I'll be sure and wear my hat that looks just like Cheryl's! You'll be sure to spot me.... What airline are you taking?
  11. Andrea - my plane is scheduled to arrive at 12:39.
  12. We haven't but would LOVE to some time!
  13. This is true but aren't wrist bands worn for underage people? It's funny the way you replied. It looks like you quoting me but really it was Deb! As for the wristbands, I don't think 18 - 20 year olds have to wear them. You're right, Kevin. They don't wear them because they're not part of any program. It kind of goes back to my point about that age group. Now on NCL, I remember, they punched a hole in the underaged persons cruise card.
  14. Just got my flights all set. Arriving in Miami on the 8th @ 12:39PM (with a stop in Memphis) and leaving Miami on the 22nd @ 5:00 PM. I could have gotten an earlier flight back but would have cost about $75 more.
  15. My son, Evin looks older than what he is.....so what disturbed me was when he was out on his own on the ship, he was offered alcohol - no questions asked. He refused....just because he's such a "rule-oriented" person. But how many people like him didn't refuse. I think you really have to watch out for that! I think the resposibility falls on both sides - the server and the kid.
  16. I mentioned on the DOCK that my son's favorite teen club was on RCI but he also enjoyed just being on his own. When he was 13, 14, 15 (since he's an only child) he really liked going to the shows, arcade, pizza parties etc. with the group. Once he was over 17 he enjoyed the discos (clubs) that were for 18 and up. I just wish the cruise lines had more for the 18 -20 age group. They're too young for some things yet too old for others.
  17. Great pics! ....brought back some great memories of our Valor cruise almost 2 months ago. Roe looks so happy. It looks like you both had a great time!
  18. Winter - It may be a little more expensive but well worth it to get away from the cold and snow!
  19. Great review, Ed! So glad that you didn't encounter any of the minor problems we had. I'm glad you had a great time!
