  1. I guess they could make the argument that tourists and cruise passengers could use the facility - as a possible excursion perhaps?
  2. I have an interesting story along those lines. I sent my hubby into the gift shop (I don't remember why I didn't go myself) to get a Carnival Valor pin. He looked around....couldn't find them so he asked a sales lady in the shop - "No, we don't have any of those!" I just couldn't believe it and I also know he doesn't know how to look for things. Anyway....a couple days later I walked into the same shop, walked around a bit and found a box of pins on one of the cashier counters on sale! I wish I knew which sales lady said that to him. I've always seen them for sale on other ships. I think you get a different ships pin if you were a past guest of the ship. At least I remember getting pins from Princess for that reason.
  3. She sure does have alot of them!
  4. I found a couple more photos to share:
  5. I always have a glass of wine before dinner. During the day, before dinner, I always have to "sample" the drink of the day and if it's a good one I'll have to have another "sample" or two. And.....I always have one drink during the show in the evening - usually another glass of wine. Man!.....I sound like a lush!
  6. I think they'll survive. I agree with Steve - they've just got to come up with new ideas and incentives.
  7. I agree there needs to be more accountability by the cruise lines BUT some of the "crimes" and "falling overboard" etc... are from the irresponsibility of some passengers.
  8. tuesday!! The Golden Princess is one of my favorite ships. She's beautiful! Have a great cruise and come back and tell us all about it!
  9. He is the best! At the Welcome Aboard Show he had some guests on stage that he was interviewing one at a time before they played this little "getting aquainted" game. He asked one man his name - he said 'Willy Banger'.....and his wife's name?....'Anita Banger'. OMG! You can just imagine the innuendos that flew. I don't think I ever laughed so hard in my life! There were times that I couldn't even breathe! Great memories of a great time!
  10. Thanks! Her booze bill?.....more than mine-LOL! At least we were able to keep her out of the mini-bar!
  11. Thanks for the great review James! We have sailed on the Golden and Star Princess (sister ships) and they were the best ships we ever sailed. Sorry your experience on the Emerald wasn't as good.
