  1. Yes, we're still interested in Portofino. I think I would rather just have a quiet, do-nothing day on the 21st. Viking Crown Lounge sounds good to me for the Bon Voyage gathering.
  2. Toni, I'd have to defer to Hector to answer your questions about the guided tour. I know, we just did it on our own and it took about 3 - 4 hours....and I don't think we were able to do the whole trail. We've only been to Boston once. I know Hector has been many times.
  3. Thanks for the clarification, Hector. I knew the self-guided tour was red but I couldn't remember if it was painted or bricks. When we went, we started at Faneuil Hall. Probably what I found most fascinating was the cemetery - many famous and historic people buried there. 53 more days.....YAY!!!
  4. Toni, you don't need reservations for the Freedom Trail. It's more of a self-guided tour. It I remember correctly, there is a painted line on the sidewalk that you can follow. Hector, am I right about this? I do know that it's well worth the walk.
  5. The secure parking is an added plus to this place! We'll only be parking there for one night but still that gives me a little peace of mind.
  6. Exactly Debbie.........the last time we were missing the bar!!! LOL I remember....LOL! And even if it's in a warehouse area, there's no need to go outside the hotel if everything you need is right there (especially the bar...LOL).
  7. I just took a look at the Wyndam Gardens. The rates seem reasonable....and I like the fact that it has a restaurant and bar.
  8. OOPS...must have missed that. Well....looking forward to whenever and wherever we meet up
  9. Welcome back Rose! 6:45 dinner sounds great.. Zack will like that.
  10. Great Q & A - Very informative! I can't think of any questions right now, but when I do, I'll ask away.
  11. Now that our 10 day camping trip is over, it's full speed ahead for the final planning for this cruise. Final payment was made a couple months ago for us. I've also been checking into some hotels.....with no luck yet. We are going to drive to the port anyway......and don't need a shuttle...I hope if we all pool our resources, we can come up with a good place to "park" for the night with a great place to have a pre-cruise dinner.
  12. It looks great, Jason! I love how they're organized - so much easier to flip through.
  13. Can you believe it's about two-and-a-half months away? I don't want to rush summer...but I can't wait. Haven't been on a cruise since the last CrazieCruise. I think we're overdue!
  14. Sounds good to me! What about Toni's question about the hotel? Has there been a final decision on that?
  15. Welcome aboard, Danny! I live in Royal Oak, MI. I know Plymouth well - a beautiful city!! Looking forward to reading about your experiences aboard the Carnival Magic.
  16. Hi Danny, from one Michigander to another. Looking forward to your blog. Welcome to CruiseCrazies!
  17. That sounds like a great plan. We may go on the trolley tour...but the current plan is for my brother and SIL (from NH) to meet us in Boston for lunch. If that doesn't happen, I don't know what we'll decide to do.
  18. Hector go into where you pasted in your signature and highlight and delete what you want to get rid of. I don't know how I managed to find it, but every now and then I get it right. LOL Try highlighting what you want to delete, then hitting "backspace". I'm not sure if that will work. It's worked for me sometimes
  19. I know Zack would enjoy a lobster lunch. We haven't made any definite plans for Bar Harbor either. I think Zack might want to go to one of the brewpubs there. We wouldn't walk though. Probably take one of those free shuttles, it we go.
