We have never taken duct tape on a cruise before, maybe scotch or masking tape.
Since Jenn was the one to come up with this question and seems to be a big fan of duct tape, I just wondered if she watched "Red Green" on CBC or had seen "Duct Tape Forever" (the movie) or if anyone else has seen these. Great shows!!!
Joey, I am very jealous - 3 cruises in 13 months!
I love riding the train. We've taken Amtrak from Detroit - Chicago and back a couple times and we've ridden on Via Rail from Windsor, ON to Toronto - nice ride!
but arent there instances when the guest is just plain wrong?
That's true, but you have to make them think they are right and rectify the situation accordingly. (Does that make any sense?)
Sure, I could live without them but it just adds a little "extra" to the cruise experience. I, too am guilty of taking a picture of the towel animal every evening. As for the chocolates, my DH and DS take care of those
We have never had any luggage lost (knock on wood). But, on a Princess cruise last year we received a call from the luggage dock that someone from our stateroom had to meet security at the employee entrance and identify "something suspicious" in one of our pieces of luggage that showed up on the x-ray. Long story short - it was some cords and attachments for my DH's camera. On the x-ray, it kind of resembled some sort of bomb-like object. After seeing what they saw on the x-ray I totally understood why they questioned it. I had to give them permission to open it up and inspect it. I was escorted back to the ship and that piece of luggage was in our room within the half hour.
We got our passports in 2002 just before our 2nd cruise. At that time it wasn't required for cruising but we noticed how it made "things" much easier if you had one.
