My DH and I have never been but on our last RCI-AOS cruise the DS was finally old enough (you have to be at least 18) to go to "Jester's" and loved it!!!
No, I take advantage of the buffet!
Actually I never use the gym or spa........but my DW uses the gym.
I have never taken advantage of either. Although on the Golden Princess, I tried to get a spa appt. but they were totally booked.
We do thoroughly read the daily activities program and carry it with us. This last time we brought different color highlighters to highlight different activities for each of us and/or for all 3 of us.
For our very first cruise we booked online with a cruise TA and found out later we really got "ripped off". Now we book through our fantastic AAA Travel Agent. She goes out of her way to find the best deals for us!!!
My DH and DS are non-swimmers so they don't ever go near the water. Even though I do swim I have never gone in a pool on a ship (I don't want to make anyone sick ).
I am not a coffee or tea drinker but my DH enjoys both. He bought a coffee card on Princess and enjoyed the coffee there but for some reason on our last cruise on RCI he didn't try the specialty coffees - maybe because he wasn't feeling well.
We just love the Caribbean. If we've been to a port before, we either just stay on the ship and enjoy the "emptiness" of it all or we visit the port and find something different to explore there!
Usually in bed by midnight and up about 8 - 8:30 am. If we have a booked excursion, then earlier and also if it's a "sea day" - later. I'm more of a night person while my DH has always been more of a morning person.
We've only taken advantage of the laundry services once on Enchantment..., but I've used the self-serve laundry facillities on Golden and Star Princess ships - relatively inexpensive and convenient!
We prefer to be on our own. We've found that it's usually less expensive. We do alot of research beforehand so we can make a somewhat educated decision on what to do at each port.
