A flash drive is nothing more than a small memory card that plugs into a USB port. Think of it as a mini-hard drive. Me explaining computers is scary! Thanks Steve - now I know what a flash drive is....now what is a USB port and a mini-hard drive? I told you my knowledge of computers goes as far as being a whiz at booking cruises. OK, lets try this. A flash drive is a little thingy that plugs into a USB port on your computer. The USB port is a small rectangular connection on your computer. It could be located on the back, front, or either side of the computer. There are usually at least two or more ports depending on the age of your computer. Just go to Best Buy and ask for a flash drive. Tell them you are going to use it for digital pictures, they will know what to recommend. Yeah! 16 weeks from now we will be at the airport for our flight to Miami!

Debbie...Photo exchange is a great idea. I am no computer expert but this might work. Everyone who wants photos could bring a flash drive. They are not too expensive and a very small and llight. We could transfer the digital cards to a computer and then download the pictures to the flash drives. I use flash drives to take pictures with me when we are going to see relatives I don't like, then make them look at pictures! Again, not an expert but something to think about.
