    Good question. After thinking about it can't think of a thing I miss eating. We look forward to eating things we normally don't eat that I don't miss other foods.

    My parents never got to go on a cruise together. We took my Dad on his first cruise last Sept., he was 90!. He liked it so much we are going again this Sept. He really enjoyed it and is very excited about going again. Gives him something to look forward too.

    Miami is expensive for hotels. We have sailed twice from Ft Lauderdale and got hotel rooms for under $100. Holiday Inn and a Hampton Inn. When we are going on a cruise the hotle does not have to be fancy, just clean. Guessing Ft Lauderdale is about 30 minute trip to Miami cruise port.

    Wow! You guys are all over this cruise! This is going to be the first cruise I have ever taken where I won't have to plan anything! I really do mean it, you guys are doing a great job. Thanks!

    Have never tried sleeping with the door open but do like to have the drapes open. During the day a quick nap on the balcony is a must for late night activities. Just sitting on the balcony and listening to the waves puts me to sleep real quick!

    Pillow menu? I don't go on cruises to make decisions. I like the one that's on the bed but if I had to choose a body pillow that gooses would be different! No help on the hotels in Miami. Lived their 38 years ago so my knowledge is rather dated. When I was there the closest "nice" areas were Miam Beach (which was old 38 years ago) or Coral Gables in south Miami. Of course that could have all changed by now.

    MaryLou...That deck plan with tabs is great. I too have trouble staying asleep but instead of being creative like you I just go to the bathroom!

    Fellin Hot Hot Hot, thats the cruise song. We have a bear with a parrot sitting on his shoulder that sings Fellin Hot Hot Hot. Of course I also have all the Jimmy Buffett tapes. Those are warm ups for the cruise.

    I guess anytime dining has it advantages but we like the traditonal dining. We always eat late which gives us plenty of time to make dinner even on shore days. The only meal I can remember missing was the night we took a sunset catamaran cruise. It was open bar and by the time we got back pizza was fine!

    We are at 43 with 20 more days booked. We didn't take our first cruise untl 2004. You'd think we like it!

    We got our first pastports in 1986. We renewed again last year and I think we still have the old ones. Will check the numbers.
