  1. Andi, great idea creating a new thread for this. Now it will be easy to find when I need it. All three of them sound alot better than the place we stayed last time.
  2. If they couldn't find the machine, and it was required, I can't see that they had many choices. It's a bad deal, but if they had somehow sailed without the machine the daughter would have been in grave trouble.
  3. Jan, Sharon has fully recovered for the most part. She'll swim, hike, and snowshoe. I like to hike up mountains, but I doubt she'll do another one of those with me. She fell walking the dogs across the road from our house. Just a freak accident.
  4. Jan, I peeked at your travel blog. My wife had a similar experience a couple years back, fracturing her ankle on both sides. Now she has metal plates and screws. I'm glad you were able to find a good surgeon.
  5. That sounds like a fun cruise Margaret. There's also a "Who's Cruising" thread under the "Connect" forum up top where can post this, and maybe find some others on the same cruise.
  6. Dominican Republic seems to be growing in popularity. A cruise might be a great way to see it for the first time.
  7. No wonder it's taking so long. That's a complicated salvage plan.
  8. Hi Jan. I was checking out those Mediterranean itineraries for the new Royal Princess just last night in the Princess newsletter. They look very good. Congrats on your upcoming 35th anniversary, and welcome to the website. I'm not sure why it isn't working on your iPad though.
  9. Tim, on that next cruise, where is Samana?
  10. Tim, reviews like yours might convince me to give NCL a try someday. Most of the reviews I read for NCL are pretty negative. Glad you got a good deal on the spas and had a relaxing cruise.
  11. Tried to print some boarding passes, and it took forever. Never got the passes. Lots of $$ for 0.
  12. Man, that's a good question. It amazes me that in the 21st century that you're having that problem. I hope you keep hounding them until you get an answer.
  13. I totally agree about arriving at least a day early. Cuts down on the stress...or at least spreads it out a little more. I have had a suitcase arrive a day later than I did, and was glad we scheduled the layover.
  14. I bet we could add alot more items to that list!
  15. True, but I change my shirt, bowtie, and cummerbund. So if you want to do that, then go for it!
