  1. Christmas ornaments! That way, when we decorate the tree, we can remember each travel experience.

  5. We're not tied to brand, but we haven't cruised as much as many CC members. We'll probably go back to RCI next.
  6. I wind up wearing everything, 'cuz I'm such a good planner.
  7. I like to watch too, Jenn. Usually I go grab a cup of coffee, then come back for the docking.
  8. Rockysmom, I don't know if you read these or not, but click the links below to find previous reviews for each ship: http://www.cruisecrazies.com/forums/page/reviews/browse_reviews/_/royal-caribbean/majesty-of-the-seas/ http://www.cruisecrazies.com/forums/page/reviews/browse_reviews/_/norwegian-cruise-line/norwegian-sky/ Not much on the Sky, I'm afraid. If you sail on her, please come back and add your review.
  9. Haven't used traveler's checks in many years. Credit cards and cash for us.
  10. Sounds like a great place to hide out for the winter. Have fun Keith and Rita.
  11. Thanks for your testimony Eileene. I had no idea they did all of those things after Hurricane Ike. I hope you've been able to recover from the damage to cars and home.
  12. Probably not. We really like the planning and anticipation of having something to look forward to. I fear the novelty would wear off after a while.
  13. I'd like to take a Paul Gaugin cruise through the South Pacific.
  14. They weren't any more aggressive than any other hawkers, but we did pay to have our daughters picture taken with a monkey. It was wearing pampers!
  15. The forts are amazing, considering how old they are. San Felipe del Morro or Castillo de San Cristóbal. You can't go wrong.
  16. Great press Jason! And thanks to Rose for also weighing anchor.....er.....weighing in!
  17. Debbie, I wasn't on the Connie, but Eagle Beach is very nice. We just hired a taxi driver and went; no excursion.
  18. I think they should screen people in the main dining rooms, because the dress codes are pretty casual now. Not to sure about the rest of the ship. Everyone's there to have fun, and as long as they aren't screaming and spilling beer on people, I don't get offended at how they dress.
  19. I think Carnival is still the partyingest line.
  20. Maybe not so much an age group, but they do seem to have more activities on-board. If you like variety and lots of activity, RCCL's a good choice.
  21. As much as we'd all like to believe it, there is no such thing as paradise on Earth, I'm afraid. I'm glad the murderer was convicted. I hope that brings some small comfort to that poor girl's family.
  22. I should have mentioned before, but we do keep scrapbooks/photo albums.
