Once. It was the last day of our last cruise, and my younger son (he was 12 at the time) did not meet us where he was supposed to as we waited for deboarding. It was because he didn't listen when I told my sons where to meet, and because he didn't stick with his older brother (who did listen). We searched, waited, and searched. Finally, I heard a page over the intercom, called the purser, and a staff member brought him to the place we were waiting. When they were little, we kept them on a shorter leash though, and didn't have any problems.

Joey, what always tips the scale for us between a land vacation and a cruise is the fact that on a cruise, Sharon and I can obtain some freedom from the kids. Don't get me wrong, we love them; but on a cruise they can do their thing while we do our thing and everyone is happy.

Debbie's right, this is becoming stranger by the day. I only hope that there aren't a rash of copy-cats. Something like that could cause the industry to over-react and enclose the entire ship in plexiglas. I love cruising, but don't want to do it in a bottle...

Jurisdiction? Foreign or international waters...Bahamian registered ship. Can the FBI do anything besides investigate crimes on the high seas? Just asking. I don't know. The husband did seem to be acting very suspiciously. Still hoping they find her...
