MaryLou so sorry you had a really bad cruise with NCL. All I can say is that when we sailed on the Star to Alaska it was wonderful from start to finish. Has a few problems but they were correct immediately. Our room stewards couldn't do enough to keep us happy. Our room was always made up by the time we got back from breakfast which was usually by 10 am. Mind you we have been on only one cruise but for the first one it was as close to perfect for us. When we went to the dining room for dinner we never had to wait in line for a table and most of the time we got a table by the windows. I am not trying to convice you to try them again just giving you my opinion and treatment on our cruise with NCL. We will sail on a NCL ship again, YES, in a heartbeat. By the way your review was very good with highlights of the good and the BAD.
