About Me

I am 55 and my SO Joel, is 61. We met two years ago on Match.com. I was divorced around 6 years ago and Joel was about 2 years single too. Joel is a CPA and I am an Office Manager for a firm that makes medical devices. When we met, we decided to have a second date since he & I had two similar interests. Disney & Cruising. I was living in Southern Oregon & he was living in the Northwestern part of Oregon in Portland. (Now, we both live in Portland). Within 3 months of dating, we booked our first Mediterranean cruise with Celebrity & scheduled our first 10 days at his timeshare in DisneyWorld. We now know, we are a "Match!" (Him owning a huge house and having maid service didn't make him lose any points either!!) I'm so bad.

We are both Work-a-holics, and are now glad we can throw our money on something we really like, CRUISING!

We are new to the cyber-cruise sites, but are sure glad we found them. We have learned so much! I met a handful of cruisers from another smaller forum and we will always be bestest of friends now. I'm going to give them this forum because it looks so much better, and I already have met wonderful people on here. My new friends from the other site are great people and it was amazing that only 4 couples could meet from all over the US and travel Northern Europe together, plus get along famously! We can all learn from each other.

I hope to make lifelong friends on CruiseCrazies!

On a more personal note, Joel has had 6 kids, (busy boy) and I have 3, (1 bioL 2 step), and Joel has only 1 grandson, and I have 6 grandchildren, (5 boys & 1 girl)
