  1. Happy Birthday adbil!

  2. Glad you had a great time. We don't get to Seattle very often but have enjoyed it when we do. Just might try the Duck tour though. Have heard it is fun.

  3. Just returned from three very nice days in Seattle , following a seven day cruise on RCL "Rhapsody Of The Seas" to Juneau and Skagway, Alaska; Tracy Arm Fjord, Alaska; Victoria, B.C.; then back to Seattle with beautiful weather the entire cruise with plenty of whales. I was somewhat reluctant for this trip but found it very enjoyable. Highly recommend!.

Highly recommend!. :thumbup This Forum is somewhat new to me and not certain exactly how to use it completely an example is interior cabin on this post. Always oceanview or an upgrade nothing else ever considered ...not worth any savings to me.
  6. I wasn't sure I even wanted to go on this cruise but relented and actually enjoyed it. There is not very much info on the areas you go into unless youcheck out the places online and request information in advance. In Juneau, we took a bus tour that was really informative and some shopping. In Skagway, we took a bus to Whitehorse, Canada and took the train back which I really liked. We were fortunate to have really nice weather too. The open seas were reasonably rough up but not so bad returning. My wife wants to return but I feel like "been there done that". Next trip.

  7. I've been to Seattle many times but this was the first time i can ever remember the sun without any rain. We heard that they hard a record temp of 105 the day before we sailed back into port, really sorry we missed that, lol.Enjoyed Seattles' Seafair 60th Celebration with the Blue Angels, the Space Needle panaramic view and the tours including the "Ducks" before leaving. We would have liked to do more but difficult in only 3 days. A word of advice ...do not take the Cruise buses to the pier from the airport. We paid $60 for the bus and $40 for a cab back to the airport. So check it out before hand and save.

  8. oh if you can post pics , I want to do alaska one of these days . I just read an artical and it was saying the towns that the cruises stop in are just that nothing else to see is that so ?

  9. Sounds like you had a great time. Our first cruise was to Alaska and we loved it too. So what did you think of Seattle? Glad you had good weather. That is always a plus for any vacation.

  10. Bill, glad you enjoyed your cruise. It would be great if you could copy and paste your comment about your trip in the Cruise Forum so everyone could see it.
