sorry to hear peru had whiners. the group you're with can make the difference in a vacation. i am also looking for people to travel with as a group as i am widowed and don't wish to travel alone. maybe some day we'll find that group and have a wonderful time. you have a fantastic weekend.

Where have you been off to? I've been throughout Latin America, Europe and Asia. I love to cruise, but I have to admit that visiting the different ports is where it's at for me. In total, about 45 countries.

Thank you Linda Sue! I have traveled with family in the past and currently with a singles' group from various ports. Ideally, I would like to find a compatible group to plan future trips with. I love meeting new people. Recently, I toured Machu Picchu in Peru and unfortunately had a negative experience with some real whiners. I see now the advantage of finding people who truly love traveling and have learned to go with the flow.
