I'm keeping my fingers crossed that sailings start over the summer and are all in by September, because I'm booked on Liberty of the Seas in September

For our next cruise on Liberty of the Seas, we've booked the "Key". It looks promising priority boarding and priority tendering drop off our carryon to be delivered to our room (yes, no lugging around my roller bag!) Lunch at the steakhouse. Zoom wifi included Special times for the rock wall, Flow-Rider and right now, it's on sale, so yeah. Gonna give it a try!

My folks had a GREAT time. We ended up with a suite with an adjoining cabin and it was TERRIFIC, so much that mom is now talking about taking another cruise!!

For me the best is the fact that my folks ( 80 & 84 ) are joining us on their first ever cruise!!! And we got a pretty good upgrade (the upsell fairy called today)

Booked last night, Carnival Sensation from Port Canaveral on 12/8/2013. MY mom & dad (80 and 84) are along for the ride, on their FIRST ever cruise!!! So looking forward to introducing my parents to the joys of cruising!

I can't see an accidental "fall" overboard, unless you're a wide receiver going high for a deep pass...and just happen to clear the railing. And I can almost understand the feeling behind one big, last, amazing fling.

Oh, I like that idea. I've told my family to take my ashes back to Hawaii, and disperse them there, but I think this idea has moved to the top of that list.

I think it's a great idea. The Serenity deck had an issue like that on my last cruise. DH and I sat in chairs in the shade, and noticed 2 "saved" lounge chairs, with a table between them stay empty for over an hour. We were finally able to snag 1 lounge chair and 1 chair with a footstool, after that hour, while those 2 "saved" loungers (with the always popular table) continued to be empty. Where were the "owners"? Who knows. Kudos to Carnival

When you get back, I leave on my little cruise, all 5 days. I'm ust getting started on this cruisin'stuff, I guess!

We get back on Sat....so it MIGHT be. On my last cruise I ate anything & everything seafood/ oh....and lamb. I love lamb! (feh...I love food)

Pack...unpack.. Wouldn't it be nice to just leave your stuff onboard forever and catch up to the ship when you wanted to?

I'm in South Texas right now, and its really humid. So anything less will be a treat! I'm thinking it will probably be warmer than here in Nov, and maybe I can get in some beach time! I'm a certified diver, but my hubby's not, so it might just be snorkeling for the 2 of us! The driving around in a jeep sounds cool, tho.

My hubby was hoping that Thanksgiving would be our formal night, but I don't think it will be. But he is a turkey lover. Me? I'm hoping for a steak!!

Oh, and good idea about the salty snacks, I'm a pretzel and cool ranch doritos fanatic!!

Ecstasy for Thanksgiving out of Galveston-my first every holiday cruise...woohoo! its only my 2nd, and it was way too long between them, but we are so hooked!

Okay, with the wealth of cruise knowledge out there, can anyone give me a general feel for the weather in Cozemal, Progreso around mid November? I know I can look it up on weather sites, but those numbers don't really help! i know that weather is weather, and can change, and storms can happen, but I know that folks are here who've cruised for Thanksgiving! I've read the advice about packing your swimsuit in your carryon, but would that even make sense in November? Someone told me there might be a problem with fog. I am so looking forward to NOT cooking a turkey dinner. thanks in advance!!

On the carnival site, it's the last page of our cruise documents that we can print out. Good idea about the card stock , that should help keep them in shape. Luckily we drive to the port, but still would like to have the tags intact so my stuff gets to the cabin
