    No handrails on the stairs, lots of hand washing, and I use my knuckles to push buttons, not fingers.

    We usually get the insurance through the cruise line, for peace of mind. However, next time we may look at other options.

    A Carnival cruise in the summer??? I go cruising to get away from kids, not jump in the middle of a whole passel of them. Think I'd pass on this one, but it sounds like a good idea, just a different time of year for me.

    I won't go with any extended family, or more than one sibling at. Tmr. My companion of choice - my handsome husband, of course!

    If my ship of choice isn't doing an itinerary I want, it goes to my itinerary of choice, providing I find an acceptable ship.

    Take a cab, instead. It's close and a lot less hassle!

    I am a photographer, so waiting for someone else to take me around doesn't work for me.

    We collect shot glasses, so one from each port.

    A lot of hotels have park-and-stay options, but the pier is much more convenient, although usually more expensive than other options. But when we get off the ship, we want to be able to go straight to our car and not wait around.

    I don't know the name of the beach in St. Maarten, but we took a water taxi from the pier and it dropped us off right by the beach. The water was wonderful and warm. Loved the color. In St. Thomas, we just wandered around town. Like one other commenter said, St. Thomas had a lot more pushy people trying to get you to buy stuff. Be careful what you buy and check for quality before paying! Have fun!

    They do refund the fee if you cancel far enough ahead - not sure how far, though.

    I personally don't see a problem with the late night charge.

    We never have a problem with RCCL customer service. In fact, we mentioned that our last cruise would be to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and they had a bottle of champagne waiting for us in our room. Totally unexpected!
