Wow, how time flies! It’s been something like four years (and eighteen cruises!) since the last time we sailed with Princess… It’s high time we refreshed our memories – especially aboard one of their great new ships!

The vast majority of our popular music awareness comes from “Dancing with the Stars”… (I think that’s way worse than not knowing the music at all!)

We love getting another ship close to home, but two months is a pretty short time – I doubt we’ll be sailing her during this visit. But the fact that Royal Caribbean sees enough strength in this market to support another ship during the ever-popular Thanksgiving / Christmas / New Year season is very encouraging for more attention in the future! Gotta love having choices!

Old or new, large or small – we wanna try ‘em all! So many cruises, so little time!

I always like hearing about new ships that are on the way but I don’t really keep track of them. It seems to me that we normally get the new ship announcements two to three years out. Maybe it’s longer than that, but it’s not eight years is it? I doubt the cruise lines themselves have firm plans as to what ships will be built let alone transferred, sold or retired between now and 2021!

While cruising Hawaii we did a mixture of Cruise Line excursions, third-party excursions and just exploring on our own. We did rent cars on three of the islands and everything worked out great. Our biggest recommendation: even though meals are included in your cruise, be sure to eat some ashore – there’s a lot of food in Hawaii that’s amazingly delicious!
