I like to think we’d sit back and get caught up on our reading in a situation like this. Sheri, when you say “Poor food, average service, nothing special, just cheap” do you mean this particular sailing? I’m not sure that’s an accurate description of Carnival for a lot of cruisers… Cheyl, I know a lot of people on maintenance medications and they wouldn’t leave on a week-long trip without two to four weeks (or more) of meds. Here’s to wishing everyone aboard returns home safe and sound.

I’d rather focus on “no casualties or injuries to passengers or crew”. I think a fire in the engine room of a ship is way better than a fire in the engine of a plane any day…

Jan and Tim, you hit on the two things we haven’t done yet! Serenade (not gonna happen) and vow renewal (we’ll definitely do that one day). They don’t call ‘em “The Love Boat” for nothing! (Yeah, I know this article is about Carnival, not Princess, but I just couldn’t resist!)

We’ve done eight out of ten so far!

Even on our very first cruise it was blatantly obvious that the shopping talks were paid advertisements. Now, even if we’ve been to a port ten times, we still might stop in if the timings right and we need a break from the sun. We never learn anything new, but we’ve won plenty of raffle prizes over the years!
