Great, now I wanna go to Alaska too…

We don’t have any plans to visit the west coast right now, but we’ve never been to Catalina Island or Ensenada… Probably not worth the long flight just for a short cruise, but if we add a couple days in Las Vegas it might be!

Hi Jan! When we book a cruise that requires air, we look at the total price and decide if the trip is worth the money or not. If it’s not, we’ll start looking for a different trip. If it is, we book the air and look forward to our vacation. No buyer’s remorse. No woulda, coulda, shoulda. Then it’s time to start planning the next, next cruise!

Nice to see Costa moving forward again!

We love these new ships – but they’re coming out faster than we can sail on them! And in the case of Carnival Breeze there’s the added difficulty of picking which itinerary we like best. Right now I’d lean towards Grand Turk, La Romana (Dominican Republic), Curacao, and Aruba – now we just need more vacation time!

We love the Radiance-class ships and these enhancements sound great! We especially want to see the aerialists in the atrium – how cool will that be!?!

We’ve been to Ocho Rios four times and Falmouth once. It seemed like Falmouth had most of the same shore excursions as Ocho Rios, but with a longer ride to get anywhere from Falmouth. We’d still like to see Montego Bay someday though!

Well, we got the verdict from our friend who sailed with us last week: she said she at least broke even on this cruise but probably didn’t really need to get the package. She had two reasons – 1, she felt the drinks on Celebrity were much cheaper than on Norwegian, Carnival, or Royal Caribbean – and 2, we were in port all day every day. She said she would have used it a lot more on a different itinerary and it would have been worth more on another cruise line. Watching her use it, it seemed really convenient. The sommelier took her card the first night but never needed it again – just called her by name and brought whatever wine she asked for each night and kept refilling the glass. I like the idea of having everything pre-paid – it looked very nice to be able to get whatever you wanted without giving it a second thought!

Marvelous ship, beautiful islands, delicious food and incredible service! Another great cruise all around!
