    The sad fact is that these “outbreaks” are far more common on land in hotels, workplaces and schools but cruise lines are the only ones who are required to report it…

    We have our weaknesses on every cruise line – pasta on Princess, dessert on Carnival, breadsticks on Celebrity – and we don’t deny ourselves our favorites. But we do eat plenty of fruits and vegetables too and we take the stairs as much as possible – sometimes even when it’s eight decks!

    Getting sick stinks – getting sick on vacation even more so – but we’ve never seen any reason to blame the cruise line…

    Disney is the master of cross promotion. I’m sure there will be plenty of theme park visits and Disney resort stays related to all those cruises. Hopefully it will lead to more new cruise lovers!

    We went to St. Kitts in 2008 aboard Celebrity Solstice – had a great Scenic Railway train tour of the island with drinks, snacks, and a very entertaining staff!

    I’m pretty sure you can only get wine by the glass – no bottles, no sharing. Also, she’s got a solo room; if you have a roommate both have to get the package so it’s $700 per cabin (or more – every adult in the room has to get it) for the week. Still could be a good deal though…

    We have a friend sailing Celebrity with us in just a couple of days who prepaid about $350 for the week-long all-you-can-drink package. We’ll let you know how she liked it!

    We like to dress up (bought a tux before our third cruise) but how dressed up depends on a lot of things – cruise line, length of cruise, driving or flying to the ship. As much as we’d like to always have our bags packed ready to go, every cruise is different for us so we try to pack accordingly.
