Welcome! Glad to hear you have finally discovered the joy of cruising.🙂 I'd love to hear what you love about MSC and why it's your favorite. It's certainly gaining in popularity, so they must be doing something right! Since you've got cruising on your mind, I'm organizing a group cruise on the new Sky Princess for Nov. 5, 2020, Caribbean from NYC to Miami. Why not join us - the link with all the info is in my signature. Enjoy the Pride to Hawaii! That one is on my list, and hope to get there within a couple of years.

As a fan of smaller ships, if stretching and revitalizing a ship will keep it in service for a longer period of time, I say go for it! Small ship builds are rare these days, and for those of us who prefer to feel like we’re actually on a cruise and not on a huge floating resort, this is better than no new small ships at all. Better a stretch than the junkyard!🙂

This is great news! I have been longing for a return to smaller ship builds, and I love that NCL is offering a variety of ship styles to suit its customers. Still, 3,300 passengers is still pretty big, and it would even be better if we saw a 2,000 passenger ship appear down the line. There has to be a ceiling for “biggest ship in the world”, right?

The first headline I saw for this story mentioned that “hundreds of people were rushed off” sick. The next mentioned a half dozen. The numbers change depending on the report. In any event, I hope the Joy is clean for my cruise on her in March.

It’s that time of year again - time for Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. Here’s one from Princess you won’t want to miss!

Doesn’t affect me in the least. I don’t drink soda any longer, but when I did. I was a Diet Coke girl. I hate Mountain Dew and Gatorade. I do like the Starbucks coffee and ice tea bottled beverages, though, but they still don’t take the place of a good freshly made cafe mocha.🙂
