Excursion planning is the hardest part for me. WAY too many choices - especially Alaska, as I am now discovering!

A Windjammer cruise would sound awesome, to me. However, my husband would have the same initial reaction as the author in this article and, sadly, I doubt I could convince him otherwise. I will just have to find another buddy to come with me.

Another reason for me to move to Florida! Short cruises aren't worth it for us because of the flight factor, but those close to port will have another great option.

I have never tried Zumba, but know many people who do it regularly. I think it's going to be very popular and a great way to work off those added cruising calories!

Thanks for your review, Roger. We sailed Imagination in 2003 - 5 days to Belize and Key West. Belize was a bust (see my latest blog post), but we loved Key West and still want to get back there some day. We also have fond memories of Imagination and it was a great first cruise for our daughters, who were 8 and 12 at the time.

I came across this interesting article in USA Today about home swapping. It's an interesting concept, and I've often wondered about it, though I don't know how I'd feel about strangers staying in my house. I know, Sarge. Can't tell fact from fiction anymore. I wonder how many people lie on those pre-boarding health questionnaires because they don't want to risk quarantine or being denied boarding!

The "plague" made its way around my house last month. We always called it the flu, as well, when we were growing up. I think any illness that kept us in bed with a fever was "the flu"- LOL - even if it didn't resemble influenza.

Good point - and it makes total sense!
