Sounds absolutely lovely and amazing, but the hubby is still in school in early June, so we won't be able to join you. Besides, after our Med. cruise next August on the new Royal Princess, we'll be totally broke!

This is a great alternative for a home-port cruise for those of us in New England!

Do they require a special wheelchair van or is the person mobile enough to store the chairs in the back? I can ask the company I am using in August.

If people want a good steak in a steakhouse, they will pay the added $5. Like any cruise, some people don't believe in paying for anything above and beyond what's included, while others will pay for the extra features because ... "what the heck, I'm on vacation."

Hi Summer, If you go to your name in the upper right corner of the screen, click on the little down arrow. This is where you find all the profile information you fill in for yourself, including your signature. You can also set all your preferences, and then your signature should appear on your posts. For multi-quote, just click "multiquote" for every post you want to appear in your response. However, when I tried it this morning, the quotes didn't appear until after I brought up the preview of my response. I am not sure if this is working correctly. I think they are supposed to show up when you are replying - so you can see what you're replying to. Maybe someone more knowledgeable can help with this? For help, you can go to the bar at the top of the page, and click on "Site Info" and then click on HELP or CONTACT ME. This site works a little differently than some of the other travel sites I am a member of. I am still figuring this all out, too - it's a learning process. Hopefully, some long time members will chime in.

Hi Summer - I, too, am fairly new to the Crazies - you came to the right place. You won't find a nice crowd. You sound like a planner, just like me. Thanks for the info. My husband and I love to browse the art work while we're on cruises. On our last cruise on the Emerald, there was a featured artist on board. Unfortunately, I don't remember his name, but he did give a presentation and it was very interesting and informative, and even created a piece during the session. We have purchased several works onboard - and never miss an auction!

TA. Most times I get booked into an existing group, so I get the group rate and the amenities that come with it. I've never booked directly with the cruise line and never saw any need. Then again, I don't have as many cruises under my belt as many of you well-seasoned cruisers.

Thanks for taking the time to write such an informative review. Carnival has done well with shedding their party image and still remain the "fun" ships. Sounds like a great itinerary. Someday I hope to cruise off the west coast, too.:)
