  1. When they remodeled the Carnival Dream they designed these balconies by redoing the rooms in that area of the ship. At a Carnival seminar they told us these were so successful that they are adding them to their newer ships. They have a u-shaped roof above so you do not see the bottom of the lifeboats. They also told us most of these rooms were obstructed view rooms before they did this and they turned them into a beautiful thing!

  3. Any suggestions for a hotel in Singapore? My wife and I are taking the Royal Caribbean Monarch of the Seas from there to Malaysia and Thailand and seeking a hotel in the $100-$150 price range the day before the cruise to get a good view and feel of the city.
  4. Thanks for everyone's comments...I showed her your replies plus Carnival's statement about the Dream which told truth instead of the news drama and with a little common sense talk she decided to keep the booking and go have fun! I heard about the "cove balconies" while on a Carnival cruise and with the comments given here I feel it is something we have to experience soon!!!!!
  5. I am a travel agent and booked a client on the Carnival Dream in late May and now they want to cancel. It seemed CNN had one passenger call in saying toilets were stopped up and conditions were terrible which Carnival says was not true. I believe Carnival and not CNN, does anyone have any comments or know someone that was on that ship?
  6. My wife and I are going to Belize on the Carnival Legend in December. Anyone know if the excursion to the Mayan Ruins is the best?
  7. Hey BillHarbin, welcome aboard! :)
