Glad to know that you survivied the cruise. I had a feeling after reading a few of the other posts that it wasn't a crazy as they described it. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it wasn't the "cruise" that everyone thought it would be, but for the life of me, I could not understand why Carnival would allow their passengers to live on onion and pickles. Glad to hear that there were no food shortages and that people were able to eat. It really doesn't surprise me any more on how people will act when faced in a disaster, they go on the "its all about me mode" and forget that children should eat first, and then the elderly, and then themselves. That was the way I was raised. So glad that everyone made it home safely, and I truly believe that Carnival did an outstanding job (that means their crew and staff). I also believe that Carnival went over and above on reimbursing the passengers. So those individuals who felt it was necessary to sue Carnival because of an engine fire, I hope you don't get anything. An accident is just that, an accident. We all know that things like this will happen, but I'm sure that the cruise line will handle it just like Carnival did, they handled their business and no one was seriously hurt.
