  1. I'm going to try finding that forum and then hope to find you too.
  2. Yeah I really think it's the best. Maybe we'll share it together sometime in the future, all dressed up of course.
  3. True, but I really don't mind to get dressed up for a Beef Wellington and my favorite dessert the Baked Alaska. I'm so looking forward to my next cruise !!!
  4. We don't need the press to tell nice stories, we need Cruise Crazies like us to be the ambassadors for cruising. When I'm done telling people my stories, usually they get really enthusiastic and like to experience it for themselves. Just the other day a very good friend asked me to contact a single woman to tell her what solo cruising is like, she wants to but needs a small push. I really hope I can get her to try!
  5. On my last cruise with the Royal Princess, I met a father and his son from England. At disembarkation day they overslept and were an hour late. So their transfer to the airport was long gone. They explained their situation and the staff member arranged a cab for them and they didn't even have to pay for it. Princess did not have to do that, because it was their own fault they didn't arrive at their designated area on time. I think that's great service!
  6. I know you are going to have a great time on that ship Timetravler. Enjoy your trip and please let us no your experiences. And no I've never had problems finding a group table for dinner. I didn't have problems on the Royal either. But for breakfast and lunch I go to Horizon court to meet other people and on the Royal that is a little harder, that's all. That doesn't stop me to talk to people though :-).
  7. I sailed the Royal Princess last month and it really is a great ship. The Atrium and theatre are awesome and the sea walk is fantastic. Horizon court has changed compared to other Princess ships, it looks great, but is not solo cruiser friendly like on the other ships though. I'm used to join tables for breakfast and lunch, just go over and ask if a chair is available. Because of the new lay out and furniture it's not inviting to ask people to join. Fortunately there is any time dining to make up for it. My next cruise will be on Caribbean Princess and as this is a sister of the Crown, I know I will love that ship and Horizon court.
