Favorite time of day while cruising?

Do you have a favorite time of day when you're on a cruise? Mine is first thing in the morning, just as the sun is about to rise. I usually go up to the lido, fix a cup of tea, and either head down to the promenade deck or up to an aft portion of an upper deck to catch the sunrise. It is the most peaceful time of day, and since the ship is usually at sea at that hour, it feels as if our ship is isolated from the real world.

I love a cup of tea on the balcony if we have one. If not it has to be the last walk around the promenade....just me and hubby each evening.

I'm with Keith and Rita....sunsets are my favorite time. Many times the ship is at sea; other times they are still in port. A few days ago, I was in Cozumel on the Island Princess and had the chance to photograph the Nordic Empress as she sailed away from Cozumel into the sunset. Cozumel has great sunsets! The only morning on my last cruise that I was up before sunrise was the day we did the partial transit of the Panama canal...that morning I caught the sunrise over the Pacific ocean! (Can you figure that one out?)
