Dan
I swae some people take so many pictures, that if they stitched them the way jbond did with that St Thomas pic a few weeks ago, they would have every inch of the ship, the islands and the sea LOL. The most I've ever taken was about 5 rolls on a 10 day Panama cruise. I took about an hour of video on the Grand Princess, but that also was the entire "If I Were Not Upon The Sea" skit too. I was more into taking pics of the ship on our first 2. The Victory I think I took about 7 shots of the ship, and the video was 4 minutes long LOL
iriscruiser
Lots and lots of pictures with a digital it's great. If you got a bad one you delete it. The more pics the better, these are your memories. Not having been on a real cruise yet I can't say but I have enough memory to take about 1000 pics plus our digital does movie clips. I can tell you that I just came back from a 3 day trip to Lake Seneca and Niagara falls and have almost 300 pics from that. My camera case has a belt loop on it so you just stick it on your belt and it's handy whenever you want it.
hazelson
Going digital really does make a difference - I'll take several shots just to make sure - and we bring the lap top as well - so it's easy to edit. Trouble is we are ususally not in the photos - we take a teken shot to just prove we were aactually there. We probably take about 500 or 600 on a week's holiday.
