Comments on Carnival Fantasy?

We're seriously considering a 3-night winter get-a-way. I hear she's been refurbished recently. Any thoughts are appreciated.

I sailed on Fantasy last September 2002 (before the refurbish), and had an awesome time. Although, I was very glad to hear that she has had a make-over....it was definetly needed! We got a great deal on a Cat. 12 suite and even though the room was quite thread-worn it didn't stop us from have a wonderful time. We had a great stewart and the room was kept clean. The majority of the staff was very friendly. Food was good. I plan on sailing on her again sometime in the future now that they have updated the ship. The pool was in rough shape..not sure if that was fixed up?

LOVE, LOVE the Fantasy!! We have sailed on her twice, most recently this past January. We did the 4-night both times and just loved it! We had a cat. 12 suite and we were definitely spoiled. Our cabin steward was great, the rest of the staff was great, the food was great; it was great!!

I'd go for it! I've sailed her and still like her size. Smaller than the mega-ships and larger than the older ships. She's the perfect size for 3-4 night cruises.
