Cruise Ship Sightings

If you live near a port, you'll see lots of ships. I still remember the ships I saw as a kid: Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth, Normandie, SS. United States, SS. Constitution, Queen of Bermuda, etc. The west side of Manhattan was always crowded with ocean liners.

Lucky guys all of you, unfortunately I live in Toronto and drive to Ny for all my cruises so all I see at work is the fairy heading towards Centre Island!

My office is close to Port Everglades, so I see the cruise ships every time they're in port. :happy:

We don't see many cruise ships in Las Vegas :angry:

However when we were in Venice (Italy not California) We saw "The World". She is the one you have to buy into like a Condo. Very nice looking ship to say the least. Saw several people in and around St. Marks Square wearing World logo wear.

We were in Venice two days and she was there the entire time. Some fantastic yachts in port as well, but not quite as big as the ones we saw in Monte Carlo a few years ago.
