Hello I hope I am doing this right as a new member. Going on a 5 day cruise RCL on the Enchantment.-- Jan 5 to 10th. Destination Key West, Cozumel and Belize. I was hoping some of you could give me some tips on the Ship and Ports visited.

Someone suggested I come here because you all were so nice!! Thanks so much. Alice

aliceunderground,

You are doing just great and yes, this board has the"nice" and wonderful people who will be very happy to answer any questions you may have. Congratulations on booking your first cruise. You will be hooked after this one. I have not yet been on that ship but hope to one day. The shopping in Key West and Cozumel is fantastic. As far as the tours, I'm sure our experienced members can fill you in on that, as we haven't done very many, as hubby would rather plant his derriere on the deck and not move for the week.

Anyway, welcome , alice, and we're so glad to have you aboard. Hope to see you posting often. Sincerely, Cheryl B) :D B)

Hi Alice,

We cruised on Enchantment back in '99. It was a seven day cruise and visited Key West, Cozumel, Ocho Rios and Grand Cayman.

It's a beautiful ship. I really like the RCI Vision class ships, nice size and really attractive dining rooms.

In Key West we just walked around. It's a great place to just window shop and bar hop, full of interesting places and really interesting people.

Cozumel is one of my favourite ports. We did the Fury Cats when we were on Enchantment, but Tulum is an option and we have also done the trip to Passion Island. Cozumel is also an interesting town to walk around, but don't spend too much time in Carlos and Charlies or Fat Tuesdays. The new International pier at Cozumel is a great place to buy all your duty free and souvenirs. I have our photo album posted at Enchantment of the Seas The titles will tell you the ports. Hope this helps.

Alice I just sent you my review of the Enchantment from the 4 dayer in September. If you have any specific questions just ask. I don't do shore excursions anymore but I've done many of them in the past so if you find something you want to ask about please do. Can't help with Belize haven't been there yet but to the others multiple times.

Enjoy the review......BTW they say the coffee has gotten better.
