rocster
St Lucia for the reasons you mentioned followed by St John for it's natural beauty. Cozumel, for the "Fun" times I always have when there.
JohnG
Martinique, Isle de Sainte, and probably St. Lucia, too.
DaCruzNut
I can't argue with any of your posts! I haven't been to Martinique, or Isle de Sainte, but I agree that St. John is still beautiful! Luckily, most of the island is a National Park, run by the U.S. Park Service, so it is, pretty much, the way it has always been, with no development. Only the impact of a large number of viisitors has made a minor impact on the envoronment. The waters in the popular snorkel sites isn't quite as clear.... Barbados is beautiful, and the contrasts of the north and south coasts is amazing. On the unsheltered north coast, the Atlantic waves, traveling across the sea, slam into the coast, forming high bluffs. The sheltered, Caribbean, south coast has calm seas and great beaches. We can't leave out Puerto Rico, with the El Junque Rainforest, also oversen by the U.S. Park Service, Loquillo Beach and the Rio Camuy caves... cruising2day
Of the ports we've visited, St. Thomas has always been and will always be my favorite. I love watching the arrival and departure in St. Thomas. I went to St. John last time for the first time and liked it very much too!
JoeyandDavid
wow great question....pretty is a realitive term... as they say beauty is in the eyes.... Let me say that for us it is the comfort level we enjoy that makes the beauty of the island comes to life.. so for us it would be st maarten and st john.. but a great question!!
